I decided to take Isla tent camping over Memorial weekend. This probably wasn't one of my brightest ideas, but I'm glad I did it and know that I won't be doing it anytime soon. Sampson hurt his leg within 10 minutes of us getting to Sand Hollow. Isla was a trooper, the wind blew the entire night and she really struggled with sleeping. I had Andrew take her in the truck to see if he could finally get her to sleep at two in the morning. Andrew said she cried most of the night and in the morning informed me that we were packing up and leaving! I convinced him to hang out for the day and if he felt like leaving we would leave after dinner. Isla was great, for not sleeping at all she was such a happy camper. We stayed the entire weekend and took turns sleeping with Isla in the truck. By the third night we had it figured out and Isla slept the entire night.
She loves the sand.
Isla and Sampson have Dad right where they want him. Poor Drew doesn't stand a chance with these two.
What's better then bubbles?
Flying her first kite.
My little Gryffindor!
Genius Brent and Andrew decided to ride the scooters down the boat ramp when everyone was asleep. Needless to say neither one of them made it into the water and they both had road rash all over their backs and I think Brent broke his toes. I'm always nervous when these two get together, someone always ends up hurt!
